Welcome to the Moulton Primary School website.
At Moulton, our mission is to nurture and develop the ‘well-rounded’ child – a child that is confident, resilient and motivated, and who has the knowledge and skills to leave us well prepared for a changing world. Our curriculum is designed to help children find their strengths, talents and interests. It provides opportunities and experiences for them to develop positive attitudes to learning, self-belief and critical thinking skills – all essential for success in their future lives.
As you read and find out more about us, we hope you will see that we are a school with children at the heart of all we do! Our overall aim is for our children to leave us confident, secure and ready for their next steps out into the wider world.
We achieve this by focusing on the whole-child, making sure that their well-being, social and emotional development are at the core of all we do, through our outstanding nurture and pastoral care. This is supported by a rich and exciting curriculum, with an emphasis on the creative arts as well as key skills in maths and English, which allows all children to achieve and feel successful.
We are a large primary with 630 children from 4 to 11 years; however, although large, we retain all the traditional values of a village school and remain in the heart of the community with our core values of respect, trust, compassion and tolerance. As Moulton community continues to expand, we too have grown to provide places for the new children of the village to become a three-form entry school.
Our children are very well-behaved, kind and respectful and have a strong desire to learn. They are supported by a dedicated and hard-working team of staff and by supportive parents. We are all very proud of our wonderful school and it is my privilege as Headteacher to share more about Moulton Primary through our website.
