Key Information

School Values
Our values underpin everything that we do in Moulton and are promoted through our curriculum which will ensure that our children develop the skills and knowledge that they need for their future lives and an enthusiasm for life-long learning. For more information about our values and how we promote British values see the side-bar.

Admission Arrangements
We operate an open admission policy. This means that, providing the needs of the individual child can be met at our school, the Governing Body will accept children into the Reception classes without reference to ability or aptitude at the beginning of the academic year in which they reach the age of five.
The published admissions limit applied to our school is currently 90 children per year group. The Governing Body will not admit beyond these numbers. Places in all year groups are allocated in accordance with the published criteria in our policy. See links in the side panel to view our Admissions Policy.

Pupil Premium Grant and Free School Meals
The pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. Eligibility for the Pupil Premium has been extended to pupils who have been eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) at any point in the last 6 years. As a group, these children nationally have consistently lower attainment than those who have never been eligible for FSM.

At Moulton, we strive to ensure that our disadvantaged and vulnerable children have the best possible chance to achieve well, be happy and confident in life. We use the Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) to reduce and remove the barriers that place children at a disadvantage from their peers. We use the PPG in a range of ways based on the individual needs of the child. This personalised use of the PPG ensures that support is targeted to remove the barriers for future success.
For more information about how the school uses the Pupil Premium Grant, download the Pupil Premium Strategy Report.
