We have exciting job opportunities for SEN Level 2 Teaching Assistants

Moulton Primary has an exciting opportunity for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join our growing school and become part of our fabulous team.  This role is to support our SEN inclusion team, working with identified children throughout the week as needed.

We are looking for someone who has experience supporting children with SEN, but specifically someone who can demonstrate patience, compassion and the ability to provide a consistently nurturing presence.  You will be supporting children in the class throughout the day with specific targets and inclusion in the mainstream class routines. Ideally, you will have experience of supporting children with SEMH barriers to learning, for example, ASD, ADHD and anxiety disorders.

The successful candidates will have:

• A good level of education in english and maths skills (preferably a minimum of GCSE Grade C or its equivalent in English and Mathematics)
• Ideally candidates will have experience of working with children with special needs, preferably (but not exclusively) within a special, primary aged school environment
• Knowledge of de-escalation techniques
• Excellent IT and keyboard skills
• Positive attitude to self-development and training
• Be passionate about supporting children to achieve their best in everything that they do
